Terms and Conditions for Authors

1. Scope and Eligibility

  • Submissions are accepted in the fields of Social Sciences, Humanities, and Management.
  • Only original, unpublished manuscripts that are not under review elsewhere are eligible for consideration.
  • Authors from academic institutions, research organizations, and independent scholars are welcome to submit.

2. Submission Guidelines

  • Manuscripts must adhere to the journal’s formatting style (APA).
  • Articles should be submitted in MS Word (.doc/.docx) format.
  • Maximum word limit: 6000 words (excluding references, tables, and figures).
  • Abstract (150–250 words) and 4–6 keywords must be included.

3. Peer Review Policy

  • All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process.
  • The editorial team reserves the right to reject any manuscript that fails to meet academic or ethical standards.
  • Authors will receive communication regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection within 6–8 weeks of submission.

4. Plagiarism and Ethical Compliance

  • The journal follows a strict zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism.
  • All manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection software before review.
  • Authors must declare that:
    • The work is original and authored by them.
    • Proper citations have been provided for all referenced material.
    • There is no conflict of interest or unethical research practice.

5. Copyright and Licensing

  • Upon acceptance, authors agree to grant JYANAVI the non-exclusive right to publish the work online and in print.
  • Authors retain copyright of their work.
  • The journal follows a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives (CC BY-NC-ND) license unless otherwise specified.
  • Authors must not republish the same manuscript in any form without written permission from the journal.

6. Fees and Charges

  • JYANAVI currently does not charge any article processing or publication fee.
  • No payment is required at the time of submission or acceptance.

7. Frequency and Publication

  • JYANAVI is published quarterly: January, April, July, and October.
  • Accepted papers will be published in the upcoming issue based on editorial scheduling.

8. Withdrawal Policy

  • Authors must inform the editorial board in writing if they wish to withdraw a submission.
  • Withdrawal requests are only accepted before the peer review process is completed.
  • Repeated withdrawals without valid reason may result in blacklisting.

9. Author Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy of all data, figures, citations, and references.
  • Respond promptly to editorial communications.
  • Cooperate during the review and revision process.
  • All co-authors must have agreed to the manuscript submission and publication.

10. Editorial Rights

  • The editorial board reserves the right to edit, modify, or decline articles that do not comply with submission or publication ethics.
  • Final decision regarding publication rests with the Editor-in-Chief.
