Foreword

It gives us immense pleasure to present this issue of JYANAVI, which brings together twenty-four scholarly contributions representing diverse disciplines within the broad domains of Social Sciences, Humanities, Media Studies, Communication, Education, Economics, Law, Public Health, and Development Studies. This issue showcases contributions from scholars representing fourteen Indian states and union territories, along with an international contribution from the United Kingdom and South Korea, reflecting the journal's growing geographical diversity and commitment to fostering interdisciplinary and globally relevant scholarship. It demonstrates how scholars across India are engaging with emerging social realities, technological transformations, and pressing developmental concerns.

The articles featured in this volume explore themes ranging from social media and public opinion, eco-critical readings of migration and gender, sustainable rural tourism, digital governance, algorithmic journalism, artificial intelligence, and healthcare transformation, to constitutional justice, financial inclusion, labour migration, climate change awareness, gender, mobility, and social equity and changing political cultures. They examine the growing impact of digital technologies and artificial intelligence on communication, education, healthcare, and society. Some of the papers revisit questions of identity, culture, sustainability, and social equity through critical and interdisciplinary perspectives.

We express our sincere gratitude to all the authors for entrusting JYANAVI with their scholarly work. We also acknowledge the invaluable efforts of the reviewers and members of the editorial board whose expertise and dedication have ensured the academic quality and integrity of this issue. Their commitment to rigorous peer review and scholarly excellence remains central to the journal's mission. We are also grateful to our Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof V Uma, whose continued support, encouragement, and commitment to fostering a vibrant research culture have been instrumental in the successful publication of JYANAVI.

As JYANAVI continues to promote rigorous and socially relevant scholarship, we hope that the ideas and findings presented in this issue will not only advance academic inquiry but also contribute to informed policymaking, sustainable development, and the creation of a more equitable and knowledge-driven society.
